Microsoft unveiled the Windows 10 S last month. The 10 S is supposed to be a stripped-down, faster version of Windows with an eye on MacBook rivalling battery stamina. However, a stripped version of a full blown Windows 10 means that the user has to contend with apps from the Windows Store only.
- Install Google Chrome using PowerShell. As we know that the default browser of a Windows Operating System is Microsoft Edge. If you plan to install Chrome using Windows PowerShell, then here is.
- While Windows 10 comes with its own browser, Microsoft Edge, it might still make a lot of sense to install Chrome as an additional browser on your computer. Two or even more internet browsers can live.
However, there's an unofficial way to run Win32 apps on a Windows 10 S system. The Citrix receiver app will let users install and run programs with a .exe extension and the likes, on Windows 10 S computers. The app is available on the Windows Store for free (obviously). The app runs all the Win32 apps in windowed mode.
In this video I am going to show How to Install Google Chrome Windows 10. I will also show how to pin Google Chrome on your task bar. In addition I will show.
What this means is that if you opt for a Surface Laptop with Windows 10S, you will be able to run Google Chrome, Adobe Photoshop, full blown MS Office, countless number of games and more. You will also be able to use continuum to let those apps run on your Windows Mobile device's computing power.
'Windows 10 S is a locked-down OS that runs the applications delivered from Windows Store only. The best way to get access to these business critical Win 32 apps is through Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop. Citrix Receiver opens the door for the Win 32 apps to run on Windows 10 S. This way you can run your business critical apps and also get flexibility to run any other browser like Chrome or another search engine on browser like Google search, adding more value on top of the simple, secure, cost-effective characteristics of Windows 10 S,' Citrix said in a blog post.
So, if you are using the stripped out version of Windows 10, then you should get this on your computer as soon as possible.
